Merging Cells in a Table

Use the Topic Editor to create tables with cells that span several columns or rows.
  1. In the Content Manager, open a topic and insert a table.
  2. Place your cursor in the cell you want to merge.

    Expected Result
    The Table toolbar displays.
  3. Under Join, select Left, Right, Up, or Down to merge the selected cell to an adjoining cell.

    Step Information

The selected cell is merged with an adjoining cell, and content in the adjoining cell is replaced with content in the selected cell.
