Table of Contents
User Guide

Tables are very easy to work with in /varsProperNouns.dita#productName. Each of the common DITA table types are available.

Using the Tables menu, you can insert a Table or Simple Table with the amount of rows and columns you’d like. The primary difference between a Table and a Simple Table is the ability to join cells in a Table to create advanced structures.

For both table types, a table toolbar displays enabling you to increase or decrease the amount of rows and columns in your table. If you’re editing a Table, you can also join or split cells in the table.

In general, column and row sizing are not handled by the author, they are handled by the rendering engine.
Authors should not worry about:
  • Row heights
  • Column widths
  • Border styling
