When you run a localization job, you can select to package your content as a Source Package. A Source Package contains two folders, one for the target locale and another for the source language reference content.
In the Source Package, the source DITA topics and maps are nested in the same folder structure they’re located in easyDITA. The localization team is responsible for localizing the DITA files in the target locale folder. For example:
Important:Do not modify the folder structure. This will cause an error with the files as easyDITA can no longer link the target content with the source content once it has been changed.
Source Package Fields
When you create a Source Package for your localization job, you must complete the following fields:
|Project Notes||Information about the project for the localization team. This information is displayed in the project-notes.txt file in the Source Package.|
|Manager||User responsible for the localization job. This information is displayed in the project-notes.txt file in the Source Package.|
|Include||The resources packaged for the localization job: All Resources or Only Changed Resources.|
|Target Locale||The locale the content will be adapted to.|
