Revisions Tab
The Revisions Tab in the Resource Viewer enables you to view, compare, or restore previous versions of a file.
Comparing Revisions
Compare the revisions of a file to view changes made between revision events.
Restoring a Revision
Restore a revision as the current revision state of the file.
Revisions Tab

The Revisions Tab in the Resource Viewer enables you to view, compare, or restore previous versions of a file.
The Releases Tab displays a preview and revision history of a file. In the revision history pane, a new revision is created every time you save the file or an autosave occurs.
You can perform the following tasks in the Releases Tab:
Task Description
Compare Highlights text that was inserted or deleted in the selected revisions.
Restore Reverts to a previous version.
Comparing Revisions

Compare the revisions of a file to view changes made between revision events.
You’re in the Content Manager and want to compare revisions in a file.
  1. Right-click the file you want to compare the revisions of and select History.

    Expected Result
    The Revisions Tab in the Resource Viewer displays.
  2. Select the revision you want to compare.
  3. To compare the selected revision with another revision, click Compare with selected.

    Expected Result
    Changes are highlighted in the Preview area of the Revisions tab.
You are comparing revisions.
Restoring a Revision

Restore a revision as the current revision state of the file.
You’re in the Content Manager and want to restore a revision.
  1. Right-click the file you want to restore a revision of and select History.

    Expected Result
    The Revisions Tab in the Resource Viewer displays.
  2. Select the revision you want to restore.

    Expected Result
    The revision you want to restore is selected.
  3. Click Restore.

    Expected Result
    A dialog displays.
  4. Click OK.
The revision is restored and becomes the current revision state.
