Deleting Published Content
Deleting published content through WordPress will break the connection in easyDITA. We recommend using the Delete WordPress Page option in easyDITA to delete both the publish history in easyDITA and published content in WordPress simultaneously. When deleting published content, you'll need to navigate back to the map you published to view its publish history.
Deleting easyDITA Publish History
If you've deleted the published content in WordPress instead of deleting the WordPress publish in easyDITA, then you'll still need to delete the easyDITA publish history. When deleting a publish history, you'll need to navigate back to the map you published to view its publish history.​

Note:By default, maps and topics are published to WordPress as Pages. To change this, contact an easyDITA representative.
Publishing a Map to WordPress

Publish your DITA maps directly from easyDITA to WordPress.  
  1. Open a map and click Publish.

    Expected Result
    The Publishing interface displays.

  2. Click WordPress to select it as your publishing engine.

  3. Complete the following fields:

    1. In the WordPress account drop-down menu, select your WordPress site.
    2. In the Title , enter a name for the publish.

      Step Information
      The name you enter here will be used in the site URL. For example, my site is example.com. If I enter docs in the Title , then the site url will be example.com/docs

    3. (Optional) In the DITAVal field, click Change and navigate to a DITAVal file.
  4. Click Publish! to start the publishing job.

Once your publishing job is completed, click the WordPress link to view the published page.

Updating Published Content

If you’ve deleted the published content in WordPress instead of deleting the WordPress publish in easyDITA, then you’ll still need to delete the easyDITA publish history. When deleting a publish history, you’ll need to navigate back to the map you published to view its publish history.​
